India's medal total at the 2024 Olympics is four, with the men's hockey team winning bronze.

This is the team's second straight Olympic medal and India's fourth bronze in Paris. 

The Indian men's hockey team defeated Spain 2-1 in this Thursday's third-place playoff game to secure their second consecutive bronze medal at the Olympics.

Shortly before the halftime siren went out, Harmanpreet Singh, the captain of India, scored the equalizer. With eleven minutes left in the second quarter, Marc Miralles, the captain of Spain, opened the score. Harmanpreet, who was leading India from the front, increased his total in the third quarter with a spectacular brace. The final quarter saw veteran PR Sreejesh make a breathtaking stop to seal India's 2-1 victory over Spain in his final international match.
