In the men's singles SL3 final, Nitesh Kumar, an Indian shuttler, overcame Great Britain's Daniel Bethell in a thrilling three-game match to win India's second gold medal at the Paris Paralympics.

India's Kumar Nitesh wins gold in men's singles badminton (SL3) at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris on September 2. Daniel Bethell of Britain was defeated by him 21-14, 18-21, 23-21.

It was Nitesh's first gold medal at the paralympics. With two gold, three silver, and four bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics, India now has nine medals overall.
